Biorapid GmbH
Biorapid GmbH is a distributor of laboratory products for the medical diagnostic and analytical-chemical laboratory.
Our products are made from well-known OEM companies for us - sometimes exclusive - and approved and marketed by us under the brand name "Biorapid". These are particularly in-vitro diagnostics (IVD), quality control samples, calibration standards, and buffer-electrolyte solutions, reagents, equipment-specific special reagents and specialty cleaning products for medical, chemical and analytical laboratories as well as for pharmaceutical production.
Our products are sold worldwide under many trade names and brand names of our customers.
Biorapid has access to modern facilities for development, production and quality control. Our know-how, our advice and our service made us known as especially reliable and competent business partner.
Biorapid has know-how for conversion according to regulations by law and other guidelines (e.g. REACH, AMG, MPG, IVD, CE).
For our suppliers we afford goal-oriented positioning of their products on the german/european market, additional worldwide contacts.
We offer our customers development, special manufacture, series-production and sale-ready packaging including color OEM/CLE-labeling (logo, address).

Environment and Energy
Environmental Protection
Environmental protection is a special concern of ours. We act and decide in the awareness of our responsibility for our environment and operate an environmental management system based on DIN EN ISO 14001.
Energy
We use 100 % of electricity from renewable energy sources (such as hydroelectric, wind and/or solar energy). This of course in all departments: Administration, production, warehouse. etc. We avoid unnecessary energy consumption as far as possible through the use of appropriate technology.
Water
We are use the water resources carefully and avoid unnecessary water consumption.
Without Animal Testing
Our products are developed, made and tested without any animal experiments.
Forest Protection
To conserve our natural resources we are trying to keep our paper emissions as low as possible.
Therefore, for our products, no packaging information will be more added in a variety of languages, but these are on our web pages near the products available for free download.
Company Ecology
In addition to recycling and waste minimization, we attach great importance to the ecological care of our company areal. Appropriate planting and a forest and pond area provides habitat for many animals, especially lizards, snakes, amphibians (frogs and salamanders), fish, birds and small mammals (e.g. hedgehogs and dormice).

In-house Safety
Compliance and possible improvement of the in-house safety is the responsibility of all employees. The managers encourage this as a role model and provide the necessary resources.
Product Safety
We provide our customers and product users reliable products with the appropriate documents. Especially our product information and operating instructions refer to any known hazards. Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are kept up to date and are published on the Internet portal www.sds-id.com by a product lifetime valid identification number (sds-id). Access is via the Internet by using the product label and/or the product information.
Continuous Improvement
Where possible, we improve the safety in all processes by continuous adaptation and updates.
